Arkansas' First Peer Recovery Home for Women
So often women who are in addiction hit a bottom and seek help, and after being released from treatment they return to those same old people, places, and things. Trapping themselves in the un-safe environment of drug use and self-destruction. Next Step can be a way out of the familiar pain of addiction. We provide a opportunity for our women to meet and engage with new people, places, and things. This is a surrounding of positivity for women who want help. For many of our women, this is their first true experience with hope. For the first time in their lives they find the hope that they can live a normal life without drugs. That they have the freedom of choice.
Next Step Women's vision is to provide a safe, secure, educational environment that will enable positive change for women in our community seeking recovery from drug addiction. In addition, we pursue to provide opportunities and resources that support and maintain a solid foundation for women seeking a new way of life through a process of Peer Recovery.
